Welcome to ElderPride!

In 2026 : Let's Talk Science of Mind!
Join us in reading "This Thing Called You" by Dr. Ernest Holmes
The Science of Mind is a faith, philosophy, and suggested way of living that empowers us to understand that setting an intention is the foundation for manifesting the life we desire to live. This series explores a variety of books, essays, and podcasts designed to support elders in the LGBTQ community as they age forward with grace and ease.
At ElderPride, we believe that to fully live one’s authentic life, one must first understand who they are, what they value, and how to tap into a power greater than themselves while moving through the autumn of life. We begin with the seminal work by Dr. Ernest Holmes, This Thing Called You.
Each Sunday, you are invited to join us for a live discussion centered on this work. We meet via Zoom using the link provided above. Our friends at CSL Visalia will be joining us as a group, and you are warmly welcome to participate no matter where you are located. We begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. (PST) and conclude at 10:45 a.m.
A summary of each week’s lesson is provided as a blog post, and we have also included a companion journal for you to use as we move through the chapters of this remarkable book.
