Keep Hope Alive...Even Now
A few days ago, ElderPride's Rev. Jerry posted a meme on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/elderpride4me) that struck a cord for many of us. It is called: "Life Changes" The author writes:
"You lose love. You lose friends. You lose pieces of yourself. that you never imagined would be gone. And then, without you even realizing it, these pieces come back. New Love enters. Better friends come along. And a stronger wiser you is staring back in the mirror."
These inspirational words speak to the very essence of what is it to age forward with grace and ease. This is how it's done. We are called to be love.
As we age, we surrender to "what is". Many of us stop there. I implore you to keep hope alive. There is still plenty of love, friends, laughter, and life to be lived. You just have to be willing to see it. You must be willing to go get it. Take risks! You'll be okay. If you are still here on this earth, your purpose is still undone. There is still a place for you to share your gifts. You got this! Choose life. Surrounding yourself with life affirming people. Now, go have a blessed day! - RJ
